Trekking Packing List
Everything you need for your Morocco trek
If you want to enjoy an unforgettable trek in Morocco, whether in the Atlas, Jebel Saghro or the desert, the right gear is essential. Here is our practical checklist:
Backpacks
- Daypack (about 35 L) with what you need for each day’s stage.
- Large backpack or duffel bag for the rest of your gear, carried by mules or vehicles.
- Write your details on it with a permanent marker — safer than labels that can come off.
Clothing
- Adapt to the season and route. In the mountains, a warm hat and gloves may be needed.
- Avoid very short or revealing clothes out of respect for local culture.

- Long trousers, comfortable shorts and trekking trousers.
